Accommodation in the Danube Delta

The Danube Delta and Vilkovo always attracted tourists. Directly on the Danube bank appeared a modern tourist complex "Pelican-City" by 12 well-furnished rooms in 6 separate cottages. Inside the rooms are decorated natural wood.

Birdwatching / Photohunting

The richness of flora and fauna of the Danube delta is a unique, and by species diversity occupies third place in the world. Birds are the most visible and impressive. Only in the Ukrainian part of Danube Delta their recorded 268 species. 10 of them, such as the Dalmatian pelican, white-tailed sea eagle, white-eyed Pochard, Pygmy Cormorant, and others, are registered in the European Red List. The Red Book of Ukraine includes 60 species, representing about 70% of its composition.

For birdwatcher we offer customized programs such as: one day excursions "The road to the birds," "Island Ermakov," “Island of birds” and many others including multi-days tours.

Fishing in the Danube Delta

Every year more and more people are be keen on sport fishing, and wilderness places to fish and enjoy nature, become less and less. One of such places is the Danube delta.
100 species of fish inhabit the Danube delta. Among them are six species of sturgeon in Ukraine. The Danube River was the last in Europe, where they still preserved the natural spawning, including the largest freshwater fish – (beluga) great sturgeon.

One of the keys to fishing on the Danube is the turbidity of the water, so before you go always specify with us this point.

In the spring, in the second half of March to early May in the Danube Delta you can catch catfish, asp, perch and carp, if you're lucky. During the summer after spawning (May) with the first decade of June you can plan trips to go fishing on carp, catfish, asp, perch, also caught small fish - crucian, rudd, silver bream and other autumn period - until the first frost caught carp, catfish , perch, asp and pike. During this period, usually a larger trophies than in summer.
In winter, in February, are successful fishing for pikeperch.
